Leave a gift in your will to Eli’s Place.

Some gifts continue helping people long after we’re gone.

By remembering Eli’s Place in your estate plans, you help carry this work forward for future generations of young adults and families looking for better paths through mental illness and recovery.

It is simpler than many people think.

How It Works:

1 — Choose your gift.

You can leave a percentage of your estate (a residual gift) or a specific dollar amount. A residual gift is calculated after other expenses have been settled.

While adding a gift to your will is typically a straightforward task, we recommend working with a lawyer where circumstances allow. Consulting a financial planner is also prudent.

Whether you are preparing your first will or updating an existing one, here is the information you’ll need:

• Our legal name: Eli’s Place Residential Treatment and Transition Centre
• Our charitable registration number: 83199 0031 RR0001
• Our address: 2 Edith Drive, Suite #703, Toronto, Ontario M4R 2H

Our suggested wording for a residual gift:
“To pay Eli’s Place Residential Treatment and Transition Centre the residue (or a share of the residue) of my estate for such use and purpose as the Board of Directors may determine in their absolute discretion.”

Our suggested wording for a specific gift:
“To pay Eli’s Place Residential Treatment and Transition Centre the sum of $_______ for such use and purpose as the Board of Directors may determine in their absolute discretion.”

We would love to thank you personally. We are deeply passionate about caring for those with serious mental illness and immensely grateful to all our supporters. Your legacy gift helps ensure future generations of young adults have access to compassionate, community-based mental health care.

We’re hiring our first Clinical Director

Eli’s Place is taking another important step toward opening its doors. This founding clinical leadership role will help shape our model of care for young adults living with serious mental illness.

It is an opportunity to help build a recovery-focused residential program that does not yet exist in Ontario.

For clinical leaders ready to help shape what comes next, we invite you to learn more.
