The critical gap in Canada’s care for young adults with serious mental illness is well documented. Eli’s Place is the first program of its kind in Canada, providing residential treatment in a rural environment. Where guests develop the skills to recover from their illness and move from survival to living and from mental illness to hopeful futures.
Real words from supporters like you!
“I struggled significantly with my mental health for well over a decade. I was granted funding to attend a residential mental health program in the United States. The progress I made when given the proper tools was nothing short of miraculous. Residential treatment, by definition, allows for unique modes of support that cannot be achieved through other means. My time in residential treatment was quite literally life-changing.”

"Eli's Place is an evidence-based model of care that reduces the length of hospital stays, emergency room visits, homelessness, and incarceration. The care that Eli's Place offers will help vulnerable young adults build competencies for recovery so they can stay in school, become employed, and reach their full potential.”

“Eli's Place will provide critically needed, long-term, recovery-based intervention in an environment that is not currently available in Canada. Although these rural, skills-based models are available in the US and internationally, Canada does not have this kind of resource, and it is sorely needed.”
